  1. Gosh, we really haven't been writing anything. Maybe I can get this rolling by sharing the story of our gathering again at Arlington for Mike's Internment.

It was Friday, April 16, 2010. We all met up at the cemetery in a private room for our group. Around 3pm, we drove up a hill where the caisson was waiting along with the marching band. They led us to the burial site where there was a short ceremony by the chaplain, the flag folding and presentation to Bobbi, taps and the 21 gun salute.

Afterwards, we met at a restaurant on the waterfront. It was sad but we found comfort in our community of friends and family.

  2. Mike was vivacious. He loved life and living. He skied, he piloted planes, he used to race cars and had a sailboat.
He loved his family and shared his interests with them. He was so excited when he bought the condo so they could all ski in Colorado anytime they wanted.
I remember he was big into photography. It got him into the Newport Jazz Festival back in the 70's.
